Cormac (6th Class) and Déaghlan (4thClass) were the lucky pair to be chosen to represent our school at this year’s Green Schools Awards in the City North Hotel. The boys were accompanied by Ms Ronan and Mr Stanley. Upon our arrival we met the Green Schools team, took photos, tied ribbons to the Climate Tree and explored the underwater scene made entirely out of plastic bottles! Before being presented with our awards we listened to speeches from An Taisce, Irish Water and Minister Damien English. Afterwards, everyone was treated to a lovely lunch (which the boys thoroughly enjoyed) before heading for home. It was a fantastic day out, enjoyed by all!
