This month St Malachy’s BNS will be launching our Cycle On Wednesday or Cycle Once a Week initiative. This initiative will be in place to incentivise more of our boys to Cycle to School and the official launch will take place from June 17th – 21st. Thanks to Ms Ronan and the hard working Green Schools Committee our school has received a brand new bike shelter (pic above). This shelter is to ensure bikes are safe at the school but it is important to note that the boys must being their own lock in order to secure the bike to the rails provided. The Green Schools Committee, guided by Ms Ronan have had an exceptionally busy year and we would like to show our appreciation for all their selfless work and thank them for helping to change our travel habits.
