Dear Parents/Guardians and pupils,

As we approach the end of what has been an extraordinary school year, I would like to thank all of our ‘school community’ for their hard work and effort, especially over these past 15 weeks. While we have missed out on so many important milestones together, we should be proud of the new ways we have found to stay connected and support one another during a difficult period.

I would like to extend a special good luck wish to our departing sixth class boys. We have shared five wonderful years in the Friary Boys’ school and have enjoyed helping you to flourish in all aspects of school life.  We know you will value the friendships you have made and are confident that you are all ready for the next step in your education.

In the new school year we will welcome our incoming second class and all of our returning pupils.  While we all hope that we are in a safe position to return to school as normal, we await more guidance on this issue. As soon as these become available we will forward these to parents and keep you fully informed.  Please continue to check our website www.stmalachysbns.ie for updates.

For now, enjoy your well-earned summer holidays and continue to stay safe.
