Our post winter GAA season kicked off today when our U13’s hosted CBS Dundalk and Realt na Mara in the Corn Bliain Mhuire Group stages. The round robin blitz threw up three fantastically competitive games with every team giving it their all. The St Malachy’s boys, mostly made up of 5th Class worked extremely hard on and off the ball with some very courageous defending and superb point taking at the other end. The team will now await the quarter-final draw with the next tie due to take place around May 23rd. Thanks to all the organisers, CBS and Realt na Mara for travelling to the Friary field. We wish each team the very best of luck in the next round.
