On what was a perfect day for football, our U’13’s played their first round of the Corn Mac Ardail tournament. As the sun shone on the Friary field at 12 noon, the Friary boys took on a galant Realt na Mara. There was fantastic skill on show by both sides and the referee had little to do in the way of using his whistle for frees in what was a very free-flowing game. In the end, it was the Friary boys who came out on top and will face Scoil Mhuire na nGael in their next round. Well done to all involved.
