Our U’13 GAA squad took to the pitch today in glorious sunshine to contend for a place in the Corn Mac Ardail semi finals. The opponent today was another town team, CBS Dundalk. The match was played in good spirits with both teams putting together some great passages of play. The Friary boys were delighted to be joined by a number of classes from within the school, who cheered us on from the sidelines.
In the end, St Malachy’s prevailed and now go forward to the semi-final stage of the competition. We wish CBS all the very best and thank them for a great match, we look forward to meeting them in future competitions. Well done to our U’13 squad and best of luck in the semi-finals!!
