Today some of our Chess players from 5th and 6th class took part in Fèile Fichille. Having qualified through their previous tournament the boys took on to show their skills with other schools in the regional tournament. They hada thoroughly enjoyable day out with an early start and a return in the late afternoon. A huge thanks to Mrs Hughes who runs our chess club in the school, of which the competition for senior chess champion for 2025 is heating up. Our chess tournament take place every Wednesday in Mrs Hughes room. Check out the Fèile Fichille photos below:
