An exciting day in St Malachy’s Boys’ School today with the vist of the Leinster Provincial trophy which Louth captured in Croke Park just over a week ago. The Delaney cup is the prize for winning the Leinster Championship and with this being Louth’s first success since 1957, it has brought great excitemnet to the entire county. Today we were very lucky to have the cup during lunch which our lunchtime league competition ran on the Friary Field. The boys playing and those not take part got a chance to have a picture and a touch of the infamous cup.
We hope to see some of these boys climb the steps of the Hogan stand to lift it again in years to come. Check out some of the photos below.
