On Wednesday, June 14th, all the boys travelled over to the Gaels’ pitch and took part in a GAA Day. Thanks to Dundalk Gaels GFC, Louth Co. Board and Leinster Council GAA for organising the activities. 2nd class went to the all-weather pitch and worked on basic handling and movement skills, while 3rd & 4th were practising their football skills and played a game to finish off. The boys received information about taking part in GAA games, joining clubs and also about summer camps in the Gaels.
In the afternoon, 4th, 5th & 6th classes took part in similar activities and enjoyed some very competitive games and skills sessions. Everyone had great fun and also learned some new skills.
