A huge congratualtions to our U-13 Friary GAA team who reached the Semi-Final of the Urban Schools competition this week. We had a number of very competitive and full blooded matches against locals such as St Joseph’s, Realt na Mara and De la Salle amongst others. This week however, we were defeated by a very skillful team in St Paul’s, Drogheda. The boys put up a gallant effort throughout the competition and have much more competitive in-house gaelic matches in our ‘Lunchtime League’. Well doen to all involved and Mr Farrell for coaching and managing the boys so well throughout the year.
