Unfortunately, we have been informed by the Dominicans that our First Holy Communion will not take place on 9th May. I appreciate that this is very disappointing for the children and their families.  Of course this special ceremony will take place when it is safe to do so.

Full statement from Fr. David Barrin’s below:

Dear Parent/Guardian,

It is with regret we wish to announce that due to the restriction placed on all large public gatherings following the outbreak of coronavirus, the celebration of first Holy Communion in our Friary schools cannot now take place on the date originally planned. We will set a new date for the ceremonies just as soon as HSE guidelines allow us to do so. In the meantime be assured of our prayers for you and all our families during this pandemic. God bless and keep safe.
