Well done to our U11 teams from a mix of 4th and 5th class who represented us today at the All County Blitz with 3 teams. They all did fantastically well with one of our teams coming home with the top prize.
After overcoming St Joseph’s and Ardee we went on to be beaten by Blackrock but still qualified for the semi finals. In the semis we defeated the same Blackrock team that had just beaten us with the boys showing amazing character.
We met St Joseph’s in the final which the boys continued their fantastic display of football to take home the cup. The last time we won this competition was 2014 when Mr McKeown who is currently subbing with us was the captain.
