A selection of our 6th class pupils represented the school in the De la Salle ‘Conor Morgan’ tournament today. The event took place on the secondary school grounds and attracted school from all over Louth, Monaghan and Armagh. The standard of football was extremely high. In the group stages we drew and lost narrowly, sending us into the shield competition. We prevailed through the quarter-final but were unfortunately beaten by the narrowest of margins at the whistle. A huge thanks to Kieran Carey for organising alongside the team of TY’s who refereed and kept scores in each match. We look forward to taking part again next year.
