This past few days we have been celebrating St Brigid’s day across our school in many different forms. During our January seeembly, our 4th class had made St Brigid’s crosses with reeds kindly donated by Mr Paddy Carroll. This these classes visit Louth County Museum to learn about the life of St Brigid in Faughart, Co Louth and Co Kildare. The boys really will enjoy a fun filled day including construction of kites, artwork and lots of great learning about St Brigid. Other classes also took part in a webinar this morning all about St Brigid, this was run by Wexford Education Centre which included story telling and cross making.
