After returning from mid-term break, we celebrated Safer Internet Day in which the boys took part in different lessons throughout the school. Colouring pages and a Safer Internet slogan competition was run by the student council and the deadline has been extended until Friday!!
Garda Catherine Patterson attended our school to speak to the 3rd and 4th Class pupils about internet safety. Our 6th class will also have an internet sfaety workshop from Bernardos in March.
Internet safety is a very important topic at present and we would encourage pupils and parents alike to discuss their habits and experiences online openly on a regular basis.
