Last week our 5th and 6th classes worked very hard to take the cake & bake sale from an idea to a wonderfully executed event. The classes worked on posters to raise awareness of the event, going around classes to make each pupil aware that it was going to happen. They then took on the mammoth task of identifying what they could bake at home, helping to gather ingrediants and finally bake the goodies. The event took place in Room 9 with our 6th class pupils servinng cakes and bakes all day on (pancake) Tuesday 4th of March. We were completely blown away by the response from the boys and gaurdians as we received above and beyond what we expected. From brownies to muffins, croissants to chocolate chip buns and much much more. A huge thanks to the parents association led by Laura Hoey and to the boys and their parents for making this such a huge success.
