This week our Student Council started up a chess club for our senior classes. We have 38 members and we have begun the ‘fun and practice’ round. We will begin the big tournament after Easter with trophies up for grabs.

Well done to our sixth class pupils who took part in the Credit Union Quiz this week. It was held in the Lisdoo this year and enjoyed by pupils, parents and teachers. Schools all across the Dundalk region were well represented and St Malachy’s BNS 6th class did us proud. Well done boys.
